MAO-10 Methylaluminoxane 10wt-% Toluene Solution
Classification:
- Description
-
Methylaluminumoxane as 10 wt-% solution in toluene
Methylaluminumoxane (MAO) is a low molecular weight oligomer obtained by partial hydrolysis of trimethylaluminum. It is a white, amorphous powder at room temperature and pressure, sensitive to moisture and air, and soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene, and xylene.
As a co-catalyst component for metallocene catalysts, it is used to increase the catalytic activity and monomer selectivity of metallocene catalysts, and is a key raw material for producing high-end polyolefin resins such as metallocene polyethylene (mPE), metallocene polypropylene (mPP), metallocene polyolefin elastomers (POE), and linear alpha-olefins (LAO).
