2022On March 10, Anhui Bota Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. has an annual production of 180 tons of high-purity trimethyl aluminum (TMA) and an annual production of 250 tons of methylaluminoxane (MAO) project, after half a year of trial production, successfully passed the expert review, demonstration, and acceptance organized by the Chuzhou Emergency Management Bureau.
City and county leaders, as well as the provincial and municipal acceptance expert group, conducted a detailed review and demonstration of the trial production situation of Bota Company's project through various methods such as verifying reports, inspecting the site, reviewing materials, and inquiring about the situation. They unanimously believed that the various indicators of Bota Company's annual production of 180 tons of high-purity trimethyl aluminum (TMA) and 250 tons of methylaluminoxane (MAO) project meet the design requirements, the trial production process is safe and stable, and it has met the conditions for formal production and can be officially put into production.
The project successfully passed the trial production acceptance, marking another step forward in the development of Bota Company, while laying a solid foundation for better and faster development in the future.

After reaching production capacity, the total capacity will be 200 tons per year, which can meet the demand for domestic integrated circuit chip manufacturing, high-efficiency battery manufacturing, photovoltaic capacity expansion, and metallocene catalyst preparation in the polyolefin industry.
Methylaluminoxane (MAO) is a vertical extension product of trimethyl aluminum (TMA), prepared using trimethyl aluminum (TMA) as raw material. It is one of the core materials necessary for the metallocene polyolefin industry catalyst and is the most critical "bottleneck" raw material, referred to in the industry as the "chip" of the metallocene polyolefin industry. Due to the absence of domestic trimethyl aluminum (TMA) products previously, methylaluminoxane (MAO) products have not been localized and have long relied on imports, becoming a major factor restricting the development of China's metallocene polyolefin industry.
Bota Company has independently developed the production process and industrialized and localized it, ending the long-term monopoly of foreign methylaluminoxane (MAO) in China's metallocene polyolefin industry. Bota's products have been tested in cooperation with domestic petrochemical enterprises and research institutes, and their performance indicators can compete with imported products, reaching the corresponding international level, laying a good foundation for promoting the industrialization trial of metallocene catalysts with independent intellectual property rights in China, thus enabling the healthy development of China's metallocene polyolefin industry.
